Case Study #1
Diamonds International

Business: Diamonds International was established nearly two decades ago. What began as one store in St. Thomas has blossomed into over 100 locations. D.I. is now one of the largest jewelry retailers in the world, and has more locations in the Caribbean than any other fine jeweler. The network ranges from the company's New York City Headquarters to Mexico, to Alaska. The online jewelry store carries over 3,300 products and serves over 300,000 dedicated shoppers every month.

Situation: The online team for D.I. lacked information on their target market. Who were they? Where did they live? They sought long-term business partnerships that could yield substantial audience growth and brand awareness.

Solutions:

1. Online Market Planning Analysis and Recommendations
2. Target Market Definition, Analysis and Development
3. Affiliate Marketing Strategies
4. Online PR Development, Pitching and Placing
5. Partnership Identification, Negotiation and Management

Results:

1. Increased Brand Awareness
2. Increased Page Rank (3 to 5 in 6 Months)
3. Increased Newsletter Subscriptions
4. Partnerships Developed with: JDate.com, Remarkablewomanmag.com, Robbreport.com, and more.

5. Diamonds International is a current Agent-cy client, and a sterling example of online marketing success.

Case Study #2
Entertainment Software Ratings Board

“Agent-cy has been instrumental in helping the ESRB expand its presence online through the development of various partnerships and EPR initiatives. Their client-focused approach and diligent execution of effective strategies have made Agent-cy a valuable asset to our organization.”

—Randy Walker, VP of Marketing, ESRB

Business: The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) is a non-profit, self-regulatory body established in 1994 by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The Entertainment Software Rating Board independently assigns computer and video game content ratings, enforces industry-adopted advertising guidelines and helps ensure responsible online privacy practices for the interactive entertainment software industry. Its mission is to provide consumers, especially parents, with reliable information about the suitability and content of computer and video games so they can make informed purchases.

Problem: The Entertainment Software Rating Board needed to understand how to use the web effectively to educate parents on its ratings system. ESRB required assistance in creating relationships with online partners, primarily for online editorial placement.

Solutions:

1. Online Marketing Plan Completion
2. Online PR Development, Pitching and Placing
3. Partnership Identification, Negotiation and Management
4. Viral Marketing Concept Development

Results:

1. Developed an ongoing Online Partnership and Presentation
2. Developed Relationships with Parent - Consumer Focused Sites, Including: GoodHousekeeping.com (Hearst Digital), Meredith Corporation, Working Mother Media, GrandMagazine.com, and more.
3. Developed community and viral concepts and tactics
4. ESRB is a current Agent-cy client.

ESRB represents unqualified Online PR success.
